Danita Barnes has been the music director and organist at All Saints’ since 2013. Accompanying has been a part of her life since she was a young girl, floating from one Sunday School classroom to another in her Baptist church playing the piano for both adults and children to sing hymns. She believes that early experience laid the foundation for becoming a church musician. Danita is a graduate of Meredith College, where she majored in Business Administration, and studied piano and organ while there. She particularly enjoys teaching the art of handbell ringing, and in her spare time, she occasionally learns and performs a solo handbell piece. Danita and her husband, Bobby, have three adult daughters and five grandchildren.
